Everything we do

What we do

Six services, one method: survey it, measure it, look at both ends, then price it. Everything below is the same method applied to a different size of job.

01

House removals

Whole households across HA1 to HA3.

Metroland semis with converted lofts and full garages, Victorian terraces near the centre, and the substantial detached stock towards Harrow Weald and Belmont. Priced on measured volume, because a vehicle sized on a guess is where nearly every bad moving day in this trade begins.

02

Flat removals

Mansion blocks, conversions, newer apartments.

Interwar blocks with lifts retrofitted decades after the building and sized for people rather than wardrobes; terrace conversions that kept the original stair and its newel post; newer apartments with a bay to book and a lift to reserve. The first question is always the floor and the lift.

Man and van

The small end, booked by the job.

A room, a studio, a first home furnished, a storage unit cleared, a marketplace collection, one heavy thing that will not go in a car. Same crews, same protection, smaller vehicle — and an honest answer about which option is actually cheaper for what you have.

Packing and careful handling

Full, part, or fragile-only.

Priced separately so you take as much or as little as you want. Most households do the books and the clothes and leave us the kitchen, the glass and the pictures. Veneer, marble, large mirrors and framed work go into cases rather than under blankets. Materials go when we go.

05

Storage

Containerised, not a unit you rent.

Wrapped as if for transit, listed on an inventory you keep a copy of, sealed into timber containers and racked indoors. One handling at each end rather than a shuffle between units, with collection and redelivery quoted as part of the move.

European removals

France, Spain, Italy and Portugal.

Out on the A312 or A404 to the M25 and south to the Kent crossings. The customs file is prepared from the same survey inventory that priced the move — which is why the paperwork is not a separate scramble three weeks later.

How a quote is built

Four things move the number: how much is going, the access at both ends, how much packing you want done, and how far it travels. Not the season, not how urgent it sounds, not what somebody else quoted.

That also makes quotes comparable. If you are weighing us against another firm, check both have measured the same volume and assume the same packing depth — most of the difference between two prices lives there.

Unsure which you need? Describe it on the quote form. Questions covers what comes up next, and coverage shows where we work.

Tell us about the move

Both addresses, what is coming, and your date. We survey, check the access and send a written quote.
